Terms of Use

Last updated: 11 October 2026

Welcome to GaniBook ("we", "our"). These are the simple rules for using the app. By creating an account or using GaniBook, you agree to them — along with our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

1. What GaniBook Is — and Is Not

GaniBook is a personal money-management practice platform designed for adults who want to better understand and practise managing their spending habits, investment-related habits, and money-management behaviour.

GaniBook is not a bank, wallet, payment service, investment service, or financial advisor. It does not hold or manage your real money or assets, and it does not verify your actual financial position.

The information shown in GaniBook is based on records entered by users. These records may not reflect their actual money, assets, liabilities, or financial circumstances.

GaniBook provides a platform for practice, organisation, and self-awareness. It may help users reflect on their habits and explore ways to manage money more thoughtfully, but we do not guarantee that every user will gain a particular understanding, improve their behaviour, or achieve a specific financial outcome.

GaniBook is not designed for children.

Please also read our Disclaimer, which explains this in detail.

2. Your account

3. Your records are your responsibility

GaniBook never connects to your bank. Every number in the app is one you typed yourself, so please check that your entries are correct. We cannot verify your records against any bank or outside source.

4. Fair use

5. Pricing

GaniBook offers a free first month. After the free trial, an active subscription is required to continue using the service. The subscription price, applicable discounts, and payment terms will be shown in the app before you subscribe. Prices and promotional offers may change over time, but any price change affecting an existing subscription will be communicated before it takes effect.

6. Your data

Your money records belong to you. How we handle them is explained in our Privacy Policy. You can export a backup anytime, and "Delete my data" permanently deletes your financial records from Security settings (your account identity details, such as name, email and mobile number, may remain).

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep GaniBook running, but we cannot promise it will never have interruptions. We may update, pause or end features as the app grows. Your exported backups are always yours to keep.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Starj Labs is not liable for any loss arising from your use of GaniBook, including losses from incorrect entries or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in an important way, we will update the date at the top of this page and let you know inside the app.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of GaniBook will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
