GaniBook ("we", "our") helps you know your money — track income, expenses, accounts, loans and budgets in one calm place. This page explains, in simple words, what we collect, what we never collect, and how your information stays safe.

1. What we collect

• Account details: your first and last name, your email address, and your mobile number (mobile is optional).
• If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile photo, as shared by Google.
• Your money records: the transactions, accounts, loans, investments, budgets and settings you enter in the app. This is the whole point of the app — it is what we show back to you.
• Support messages: if you write to us through in-app Support, we keep your message so we can help you.

2. What we NEVER collect

• We never ask for your bank account number, card number, CVV, PIN or OTP. GaniBook works with names and amounts you type yourself — it never connects to your bank.

3. How we use your information

Only to run the app for you: to sign you in, to show your money records, to answer your support messages, and to keep the service working. That is all.

4. What we never do

• We never sell your data.
• We never share your data with advertisers.
• We show no ads inside the app.

Essential service providers, such as Supabase (database and authentication), handle your data solely to operate GaniBook — nothing else.

5. Where your data is stored

Your account and money records are stored securely with our service provider Supabase (database + authentication). Access is enforced at the database level, so your records are yours alone — other users cannot see them.

6. Your control

• Export: download a full backup of your data anytime from Export & Backup in the app.
• Delete my data: You can permanently delete your financial records from Security settings. Your account identity details, such as name, email and mobile number, may remain. We recommend taking a backup first.
• Sign out everywhere: available in Security settings.

7. Small technical notes

The landing page remembers your light/dark theme choice on your own device (localStorage). The app needs an internet connection to sync your records to your account.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in an important way, we will update the date at the top of this page and let you know inside the app.
