GaniBook is a personal money management tool that helps you organise your income, expenses, accounts, loans and investments. Please read this Disclaimer carefully — it explains what the app is, and what it is not.
1. Not real money
GaniBook does not hold, transfer or manage your actual money. It is not a bank, a wallet, or a payment service.
- Every amount shown is based on information you entered yourself.
- Adding, editing or deleting a record changes only your records in the app — it does not move money in your bank account or wallet.
- Your actual financial balances may differ from the amounts shown in GaniBook.
- GaniBook only records and organises the information you enter. It does not itself move your money or generate any real financial profit or loss.
2. A mirror, not an advisor
Think of GaniBook as a mirror: it only reflects what you put in front of it. If you enter a wrong amount, the mirror will show it wrong — it cannot know the real figure on its own.
To understand their expenses and liabilities, people use many different mediums — a notebook, a spreadsheet, bank statements, or simply memory. GaniBook is one such medium: it organises your own entries (for example, spending patterns in Reports, or upcoming recurring expenses) so that you can better understand your own financial habits and plan ahead.
The app makes no claim to understand your finances itself — that understanding is always yours.
3. Not financial advice
GaniBook's reports, charts, summaries and reminders are provided for personal record-keeping and informational purposes only. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. For decisions requiring professional advice, please consult a qualified professional.
4. Your entries, your responsibility
GaniBook never connects to your bank and cannot independently verify your financial information. If your entries are incomplete or incorrect, the results shown by the app may also be incomplete or incorrect.
You are responsible for checking your entries and using your own judgement. Starj Labs does not guarantee that the app's calculations or summaries will always be error-free, or that the service will always be available.
5. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Starj Labs is not liable for any loss arising from your use of GaniBook.
However, nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law. This Disclaimer does not claim that Starj Labs is free from all liability in every situation — it limits liability only as far as the law allows.
